Angel Stone takes place in a universe mixing fantasy with elements from various mythologies. During the gameplay, we join the Resistance, a human army fighting a war against Legion, an army of darkness which managed to defeat the Angels, and now continues to lay waste to Earth.

Angel Stone for AND, WWW and iOS is a post-apocalyptic hack’n’slash with action taking place in a universe mixing fantasy with elements of various mythologies. The game was developed by a Korean studio Fincon, known from a humoristic action RPG Hello Hero. Angel Stone had been prepared with mobile market in mind, offering a free-to-play model with optional microtransactions, and a release for Android mobile devices.

Plot

We enter the ranks of the Resistance, which wages war against the demonic Legion – an army of darkness which managed to defeat the Angels, and now lays waste to Earth. We are thrown into a postapocalyptic fantasy world, separated into a number of extensive regions, with various corruption levels, and the amount of enemy forces.

Mechanics

The game begins with choosing one of three classes: Berserker, a melee-oriented fighter; Gunslinger – a sharpshooter, keeping enemy at bay using firearms; and Shadow Mage, who mostly resorts to magic, but is sometimes seen in close quarters combat. Time spent in-game results in our heroes advancing to higher difficulty levels. This means better statistics and stronger abilities, while the titular Angel Stones found along the way unlock access to new skills, different for every class.

The players receive a vast singleplayer campaign, in which we focus on facing demonic hordes, and completing run-of-the-mill roleplaying missions, a cooperation mode that offers multiplayer raids, and a real-time PvP mode, in which we clash with players all over the world on special arenas. It should be mentioned that the multiplayer mode is multiplatform, which means that players using the browser version can play on the same servers as Android and iOS users.
