In April 2025, the Veitikka Studios team released its tactical strategy title Armored Brigade II, allowing you to take part in Cold War battles of NATO and Warsaw Pact troops. The Armored Brigade II: Scandinavia described here is an expansion to that production, which, as the title suggests, introduces Scandinavia and its member countries, focusing on the northern flank as a key theater of operations.

Three armies

Armored Brigade II: Scandinavia lets you stand at the head of three armies, namely Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The doctrine of each differs, mainly due to the different terrain. While Sweden (officially neutral, but secretly cooperating with NATO) uses its vast forests and long coastline for total defense, Norway makes use of its fjords, steep valleys and limited network of dr?gs to mount aggressive op?s, while Denmark grows into a kind of guardian of the Baltic, supporting the Schleswig-Holstein front line and guarding the North German Plain.

New units

The countries listed above are also introducing distinctive ground units and aircraft. Among the more than 500 of them you will find locally designed and specially optimized Swedish equipment, such as the Stridsvagn 103 "S-Tank" and the Pbv 302 and Centurion vehicles, as well as Norwegian vehicles and machines from licensed domestic production, imports or even World War II times.

Campaigns and maps

Armored Brigade II: Scandinavia will feature a non-linear Swedish campaign and a linear Danish campaign, as well as individual missions that are stand-alone stories. In addition, new 30-by-30-kilometer maps of Sweden and Denmark await checking.
