The features or elements that are missing from the game according to users

  • Hint System: Several players expressed a desire for a hint system to assist when they got stuck, as wandering around without direction could lead to frustration.
  • Alternative Endings: Many players wished for multiple endings or more depth to the conclusion, feeling that the narrative could have benefited from additional layers or choices.
  • Improved Inventory Management: The inventory system was seen as clunky, with players wanting a more intuitive way to manage items rather than scrolling through them one by one.
  • More Scares: While some found the atmosphere creepy, others were disappointed by the lack of genuine horror or jump scares throughout the game.
  • Increased Character Presence: Players noted that characters seemed to vanish or become less relevant as the game progressed, which could have enriched the story if they remained involved.

Summary

  • Overall, ASYLUM presents a mixed bag of experiences, with a strong atmosphere and engaging story elements, but it also suffers from pacing issues and technical shortcomings that detract from the overall experience.
