In November 2017, an RPG game titled Atom RPG, inspired by the first two installments of the Fallout series, appeared in early access on PC. The production received a warm reception from players, and its full version debuted on PC in December 2018. Over the following years, the Atom Team's work made its way to other platforms, such as consoles and mobile devices. However, we had to wait for the official announcement of its sequel until January 2026, when Atom RPG 2 was presented to the world.
Atom RPG 2 draws handfuls from the achievements of its predecessor. The developers once again decided to create a tactical RPG with action shown from a bird's eye view, set in a post-apocalyptic universe, where the Cold War turned into a nuclear conflict, bringing civilization to the brink of extinction. The title puts at our disposal an open world, which stretches before us both horizontally and vertically. Exploring it, we often look at its interactive map, as well as engage in turn-based clashes with opponents.
Among the activities we spend time on here, the fight for survival is, of course, the leading one. However, the game also allows us to build, fish or participate in races. What we do, and the decisions we make, shape the game world and determine its fate.
In Atom RPG 2 we can play the game alone or in cooperative mode over the Internet or in a local network.
