Kiro'o Games is an independent development studio from Cameroon, established in 2012. Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan is this team's debut action RPG. The game transports us to a fantasy universe inspired by African myths and culture, permeated with the titular energy driven by human will and beliefs. The creation of this project was made possible partially thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.

Gameplay

In Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan we most often view the action from the side. The locations the adventures leads us through show up on a world map and it is displayed from a bird's eye view.

Fighting for the throne

The main character of the game is Enzo Kori-Odan, the prince of the kingdom of Zama. After the protagonist was betrayed and overthrown by his fiancee Erine's brother, he must embark on a journey across six continents in the company of the would-be queen, to form alliances with the tribes inhabiting them and reclaim his rightful throne.

Difficult journey

The adventure leads us through dense forests, caves, cities or interiors of buildings full of splendor. While performing quests, the hero gets to know the inhabitants of the land, but also encounters numerous opponents, with whom he engages in dynamic skirmishes. There are also arcade challenges here in the form of platform sections, where we jump, avoid terrain obstacles and dodge traps.
