Blade & Soul Heroes

Blade & Soul is an MMORPG, developed and released by NCSoft in 2012. The company behind it also created Blade & Soul Heroes described here, which is its spin-off distributed in a free-to-play model with microtransactions.

Gameplay

In Blade & Soul Heroes the action is viewed from a third-person perspective (TPP).

Path of revenge and reconstruction

The main character of the game is Yusol, who is trying to rebuild her clan and take revenge for its destruction on the sinister Yi Chun and members of the Fall of Heaven cult. Other characters join her during the adventure, each of whom has their own story and also assists her with their individual skills.

Two combat systems

Blade & Soul Heroes is an MMORPG, in which the main role is played by battles against opponents (based on PvE rules). Two combat systems were implemented in the game. While in turn-based mode we take control over the entire team, when opting for real-time action we only control one character, who is supported by four allies with their abilities.

The team and its adventures

As we progress, we unlock additional characters, from which we compose a five-person team. The adventure leads us through various locations, among which we will find spooky forests, sandy deserts, or gloomy dungeons.
