Breaking Bad: Empire Business is an economic strategy based on the license of a popular TV series. The production uses a free-to-play model with microtransactions and was developed by Phase One Games.
We start Breaking Bad: Empire Business as a beginner producer and dealer of methamphetamine. We lack the resources and experience, but we have great ambitions. Our task is, of course, to build a drug empire. We will meet many well-known characters from the series, such as Walter White, Jesse Pinkman, Gus Fring or Saul Goodman, but the game doesn't recreate the script known from the TV series.
Apart from the unusual subject matter, Breaking Bad: Empire Business is a relatively standard mobile economic strategy. We have to construct buildings, which are of course cleverly hidden from the eyes of outsiders, stylized after, e.g. car washes. It is also necessary to organize distribution, collect resources, hire specialists and invest the money earned.
The illegal nature of our business makes us face problems that are absent in typical economic strategies. We must not only hide our actions from DEA agents but also have to deal with the attacks of the Mexican Cartel. There is also an option of sending people on combat missions.
Breaking Bad: Empire Business has extensive online options. Players can create their drug syndicates and compete with similar groups established by other users. Like in MMO games, the virtual world is fixed and the situation in it changes accordingly to the actions of the players.
