Mechanics

Breathedge 2 is a first-person game (FPP). It's set in a vast world consisting of multiple planets. Maps are wide-open, differing in terms of appearance, fauna and flora. We can traverse the planets on foot or in vehicles, while space can be traversed in spaceships.

The game revolves around completing quests while being hindered by numerous, diverse enemies. These can be dealt with using a diverse roster of retrofuturistic weaponry. The game also retains the original's survival elements and its expansive crafting system. Acquired resources can be spent on creating useful (sometimes) gear and upgrading our mothership.

Speaking of the ship, it serves both as our means of transportation and as our base of operations, which can be upgraded and decorated to our liking. There are also crewmates aboard whom we must interact with to gain their support in times of need.

Technical aspects

Breathedge 2 features high-quality visuals. The game retains its predecessor's colorful, appealing artstyle.
