A free-to-play isometric MMORPG game from the authors of the popular RuneScape. Brighter Shores takes place in a fantasy land, offering various activities based on combat, completing quests and various crafting types. The game was designed to minimize the unnecessary grind.
Brighter Shores is an MMORPG based on a free-to-play model with microtransactions. This is the debut of the Fen Research team, founded by Andrew Gower, Ian Gower and Paul Gower, the three brothers responsible for the first version of RuneScape.
The action of the game takes place in a magical fantasy land. We start the game as city guards, but the adventures quickly take us beyond the city walls, where we discover enchanted stones that provide powers that ordinary mortals can only dream of.
Brighter Shores is a classic MMORPG game. We start the game by creating our own character, and then we set off to have fun in a world where, apart from AI-controlled enemies, we will also meet thousands of other players. During the game, we explore the world, fight enemies, complete quests, and develop the character. The whole gameplay aspect was designed to reduce the grind.
After discovering the magical stones, we choose one of three combat classes - knight, defender, or mage. In Brighter Shores the challenges are not limited to combat. Besides the main classes, we can simultaneously develop our character within many professions, such as a fisherman, cook, lumberjack, miner, alchemist, stonemason, merchant or blacksmith.
The game has a rich storyline, which regularly expands through subsequent episodes, offering both new parts of the main plot and numerous side adventures.
As befits an MMORPG production, the game only offers multiplayer mode.
Brighter Shores has simple but eye-pleasing graphics made in a slightly cartoonish style.
