A strategy-simulation inspired by games such as Satisfactory. Chocolate Factory is about building an automated facility used to manufacture various sweets. We can design elements of the factory, invent new technologies and even explore an open world.
Chocolate Factory is a simulation and a strategy game in which our task is to build a large, automated and dynamically operating factory. The game, which brings to mind titles such as Foundry and Satisfactory, was developed by an independent developer - Tbjbu2, who previously delivered a quite original game titled Grand Emprise: Time Travel Survival.
In Chocolate Factory we watch the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). The game provides us with an open world that we can freely traverse, admiring sugar cane forests and jelly hills. Although initially we move around on foot, over time we gain access to jetpacks, energy trampolines or special shoes that speed up and facilitate exploration.
Once we find the right place to build the titular factory, there is nothing left for us to do but get to work. The game allows us to build new structures used to obtain resources for energy production (such as windmills), as well as to produce all kinds of sweets. Conveyor belts are used for the transportation of raw materials and finished products, winding horizontally and vertically, connecting individual objects.
As we progress, we focus on the development of technology, and the research we conduct provides us access to new solutions, thereby expanding our range of possibilities related to the production of chocolate sweets. One of them are drones, which are not afraid of any terrain obstacles, allowing for the transport of products over longer distances.
The game also implements a simple combat system. While exploring the world, we encounter enemies like cookie monsters, which we eliminate using our futuristic arsenal.
