Clive 'N' Wrench is a 3D platform game which has been developed since 2011. This is the work of one man - Rob Wass, founder of Dinosaur Bytes Studio. The inspiration for the creator were such games as Spyro the Dragon and Jak and Daxter. The game allows us to direct the actions of the duo - rabbit named Clive and a monkey sitting on his back named Wrench.
In the game we follow the fate of the Clive and Wrench, who set off on a journey through time and space using a refrigerator. All to fix Clive's cousin Nancy's mistake and, by the way, stop the evil Dr. Daucus.
As is the case with 3D platformers, the game is largely focused on character mobility and gameplay dynamics. Often the player is forced to smoothly move from the crazy rush to jumping over hanging platforms, to eventually make the monkey a provisional helicopter and go to a safe place.
Clive 'N' Wrench is full of elements typical of the genre. While travel through non-linear locations we can come across different collectibles and enemies, which we defeat in a truly Crash Bandicoot way - with a spinning kick.
The game offers 11 different levels. Thanks to the fridge travelling in time and space we have the opportunity to visit prehistory, ancient Egypt or the Wild West. At the end of every level, we have a fight with the boss.
Clive 'N' Wrench is a single-player game.
The graphics in Clive 'N' Wrench is cartoon-like, with a slight reference to the classics of the genre. The colourful world harmonises very well with the light game atmosphere.
