Puzzle, Companion App, Arcade Elements, Gambling, Card Games, Poker, Singleplayer, Free-to-play.
A simple logic arcade game and at the same time a mobile application accompanying the fourth major entry in Ubisoft’s Far Cry series. Far Cry 4: Arcade Poker combines rules of the classic poker with features of a classic arcade game like Tetris. Players must assemble poker hands from falling cards before they reach the bottom of the screen. We drag the pieces we need into correct place, while those we have no use for can be exchanged for others with a single tap. This simple concept is varied through the addition of many power-ups. Naturally, every poker combination earns us points, and we are given additional tasks and high-scores to beat on later levels. One noteworthy thing is that virtual currency won in this game are sent to our character’s account in Far Cry 4.

Strategy, Companion App, Science Fiction, Singleplayer, Star Wars.
Star Wars Battlefront Companion is a mobile app accompanying the online shooter from EA DICE. After logging onto their Star Wars: Battlefront accounts players can get mobile access to a wide database, including their statistics, character progression, and game scores. The app also lets you view online ranks and discuss with other players on the forum, as well as use your mobile device to display a map while playing the game. Another bonus of the program is a strategy mini-game entitled Base Command, in which you become the head of a Rebel base and have to repel attacks of Imperial forces. You can call for characters and battle machines by using cards from your personally composed deck. Succeeding is rewarded with credits, which can then be spent in Star Wars: Battlefront.

RPG, Companion App, Post-apocalypse, Singleplayer, Free-to-play.
A mobile app accompanying the fourth major installment in the cult post-apocalyptic series - Fallout - created in the late 1990s, which later switched owners and since 2008 has been developed by Bethesda Softworks. Fallout Pip-Boy is designed to accompany either the PC or the console versions (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) of Fallout 4, letting you view your character’s statistics, their equipment, perks, map, and even listen to the radio as you play – all on your own mobile device. The app allows for extra immersion when paired with the special Pip-Boy replica, included in the Collector’s Edition of Fallout 4. An extra feature of Fallout Pip-Boy is a mini-game called Atomic Command, in which you control a huge cannon trying to shoot down incoming nuclear bombs.
