Cossacks: The Art of War for PC is the first official expansion for Cossacks: European Wars.

Mechanics

In comparison to the vanilla game, bigger emphasis was put on enhancing the single player mode and making it more dynamic. Of course, the developers introduced a number of modifications to the multiplayer mode for those who want to fight wars over the Internet.

The expansion offers new ships, including the famous “Victoria”. The add-on also includes two new playable nations: Bavarians and Danes. Apart from them, Cossacks: The Art of War introduces five new campaigns in which we lead such countries as Prussia, Austria, Saxony, Algiers, and Poland to battle. We can take part in historical missions and, should we wish it, make history take alternate paths. Now, we can also select one of four difficulty modes. Moreover, it is also possible to compose teams that consist of both human and computer players.
