Creature Quest is a mixture of a turn-based strategy and an RPG, developed by VC Mobile Entertainment. The game takes place in a fantasy world where we have to collect various creatures that have their own unique abilities. Even though we begin our adventures with only five creatures, we will be able to catch specimen of over five hundred species as we progress.

Creature Quest for AND and iOS is a free-to-play game and a mixture of strategy and RPG developed by VC Mobile Entertainment. The game’s lead designer was Jon Van Caneghem, the creator of Might & Magic and Heroes of Might & Magic series.

Plot

The game takes us to a classic fantasyland. There, numerous characters and creatures live. Our task is to collect the latter of these. The game lacks any complex plot. Instead, players do stand-alone quests and missions, most of which are just an excuse to catch more creatures.

Mechanics

We begin our adventure in Creature Quest for AND and iOS with five creatures, but there are over five hundred types of them in the game for us to catch. Among them, we will find your typical beasts, but also some anthropoid ones.

Those of them, which we can control, we use in turn-based battles. During a battle, we decide which one of our creatures is going to take action and if it is going to be a regular attack or a special ability.

The RPG elements allow us to gather experience and level our creatures up. They can also evolve into more powerful forms. They can also learn new spells and their stats can be increased by many magical items available. As you can see, there’s many a way of improving theirs, and ours, battle abilities.

Game Modes

Creature Quest for AND and iOS offers three game modes. We can do Quests, during which we explore areas, gather treasures, and encounter enemies. The second mode is called Battle Tower. There, we will find more and more powerful enemies to fight on each of the tower’s levels. Dungeon Challenge mode allows us to fight against other players. We can also build our own dungeon for other players to explore (we also can go to dungeons created by them).
