Pilgrim Adventures is an independent development studio that began by creating RPGs. Although its leading project was the Space Pilgrim series, it has also worked on other projects from time to time. One of them is Crown Champion: Legends of the Arena, in which we run a gladiator school.
In Crown Champion: Legends of the Arena, we view the action from a bird's eye view. During the gameplay, we stand at the head of one of the factions whose warriors fight for victories in the arenas. Our job is to make sure that the latter fall to our subordinates as often as possible.
In order to achieve this, we must provide the warriors with proper training, as well as ensure that each of them is properly equipped. Although their first battles are fought with short swords in hand and wearing leather sheaths, over time we gain the means to equip them with halberds and full plate armor. Over time, more slaves come under our wing, each with an individual personality and a unique story to tell.
It doesn't stop there, as we can spend the funds we accumulate on expanding our estate. By renovating buildings and hiring employees, we gradually transform it into a real gladiator academy.
In addition, as we progress, our reputation grows, allowing us to become more involved in the politics of the kingdom and make choices on which its future depends.
To top it all off, we can find a husband or wife. In addition, the game allows you to devote time to other activities, such as breeding racehorses, which can be a source of additional income.
The graphic design of the game Crown Champion: Legends of the Arena is largely done in pixel art technique.
