Daba: Land of Water Scar is a soulslike action RPG. It was developed by Dark Star, also known for Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption.

Plot

Daba: Land of Water Scar is set in a dark fantasy world on the brink of collapse. We play as a humanoid clay doll on an arduous journey to save the realm before it is too late.

Mechanics

Daba: Land of Water Scar is a third-person game. We'll visit various different areas, such as ancient city ruins, a dark prison, vast valleys and snowy wastelands. The locations are interconnected, creating a maze of sorts. We'll have to face many opponents while traversing them, ranging from regular enemies to powerful bosses. Combat requires caution and reading the enemy's tells to find their weaknesses and gaps in their defenses.

The game stars two playable characters, both of whom differ in their fighting style. One specializes in heavy melee weaponry and magic, while the other wields a bow and lighter weapons.

Technical aspects

Daba: Land of Water Scar features high-quality visuals. The locations and creatively designed enemies are all very appealing.
