Release Date: October 6, 2025 Early Access
A first-person slasher with RPG and roguelike elements, made by the creators of Necromunda: Hired Gun and Space Hulk: Deathwing. In Daimon Blades we end up in a dark fantasy universe, eliminating hordes of enemies and relying on possessed gear.
In 2011, the French team Streumon Studio (back then known as Streum On Studio) officially debuted on the industry map, releasing an FPS with RPG elements titled E.Y.E.: Divine Cybermancy. Over time, this team came under the wing of the company Focus Home Interactive (later renamed to Focus Entertainment).
Streumon Studio regained its independence years later. It also decided to return to the universe it had created and prepare Daimon Blades, a slasher with additional RPG and roguelike elements. It is considered a prequel to its debut work.
In Daimon Blades we watch the action from a first-person perspective (FPP).
The adventure leads us through procedurally generated locations set in diverse biomes. We venture into them as part of expeditions, during which we primarily focus on eliminating hordes of enemies. Our path is mainly blocked by standard enemies, but from time to time we also have to face powerful bosses.
The fights are dynamic, and during them we make use of an arsenal possessed by a specific daimon. Thanks to these latest additions, each weapon was equipped with unique abilities and attributes (such as dealing fire damage). We develop them, using the blood of killed enemies. Additionally, permanent upgrades are waiting to be unlocked, thanks to which we become more powerful during future adventures.
The action of Daimon Blades is set two thousand years before the events of E.Y.E.: Divine Cybermancy. We enter a dark fantasy world as members of the monk-warrior cult from the Order of Secreta and we venture deep into the dark kingdom to stop the attacks from the monstrous creatures originating from there, called Daimons. The key to success is finding and eliminating the Hermit, who was once our Mentor, but after discovering the lost Temple, he betrayed the Order and fell into Chaos.
It is possible to play Daimon Blades alone or in online coop for up to four people.
