An FPP shooter by indie studio Driven Arts, developed thanks to, among others, the successful Kickstarter campaign. The game was created with multiplayer gameplay in mind. Unlike other games of the genre, Days of War doesn't allow you to develop your characters and the full range of weapons is available to you from the start. You can choose from several character classes (Rifleman, Assault, Support, Machine Gunner, Sniper, and Rocket).
Days of War for PC is a first-person shooter game, set during World War II. The game, developed by Driven Arts, was partially funded by a Kickstarter campaign, which earned almost $70,000.
Days of War for PC is a pure multiplayer game. The players participate in team battles (up to 32 participants) in many modes, e.g. objective attack or defense, capture the flag, or classic deathmatch. The gameplay is dynamic, arcade-like with a quick respawn rate; what matters the most is your skill. There is no character development option and all the weapons, including rifles, shotguns, and machine guns, are available from the start. There are several character classes to choose from: Rifleman, Assault, Support, Machine Gunner, Sniper, and Rocket. To succeed, you have to cooperate with your teammates and support each other, using the soldiers' unique abilities.
The game does not feature state-of-the-art visuals, but still looks very good thanks to the Unreal Engine 4.
The game's developers are very open to the players. Days of War features many options, which allow you to e.g. customize the gameplay rules on dedicated servers, as well as support for mods and clans.
