Demon Gaze is a dungeon crawler game from Kadokawa Games. The title is a continuation of a niche production - Students of the Round. The product combines elements of different genres, from classic Japanese jRPG to elements of collecting monsters in the style of Pokemons.

The action takes place a thousand years after the events shown in Students of the Round. We play the role of a young man named Oz, who has a special eye, so he can seal demons. The story takes place in the world of Mythrid, which has been divided into 6 regions: Grimodal Castle, Old City, Slave Graveyard, Curtain of Star Trees and Dragon Princess Manor.

The game is divided into two types - exploration combined with fight and life in the city. Oz travels deep into caves and dungeons, where he searches for treasures and riches. However, these places are inhabited by various demons, which need to be annihilated in order to gain access to money. Oz seals the defeated creatures with his eye, so he can use them later in subsequent battles. The dungeons are quite complicated, but the creator will allow you to move around them efficiently, thanks to the use of a handy map. In addition, it is possible to establish a path to valuable treasures, which are then shared with friends who also play Demon Gaze.

The game allows you to create a group that travels and fights monsters together. Characters are created in a special editor that provides seven classes of heroes belonging to five races. For the money earned in battles we can improve our team or pay for a peaceful sleep and a moment of rest.

Spending our time in the city we can talk to its inhabitants. Some conversations are rewarded with special intermittent scenes, which encourage further learning about the NPC character. You can also take orders for side missions from them, such as the local bartender Fran Pendor.

The action is observed from the perspective of the first person. Characters and opponents were designed in the standard Japanese climate. The handheld screen shows various flying cats, hypertrophied scorpions, etc.
