Dinkum Release Date PC
Dinkum is an farming RPG that simulates a quiet life away from the big city. It was developed by indie developer James Bendon.
The action takes place on an island modeled after Australia's wilderness. The player takes on the role of a hero who occupies an empty space in the wilderness and decides to build a new town there.
Dinkum is an RPG in which we deal with the development of the city. We have to do all the tasks ourselves. We cultivate plants and harvest crops, raise animals, gather resources, extract minerals from the ground, hunt and fish, and build new structures.
Over time, a town developed in this way will begin to attract visitors. Most will be content with a short visit and shopping in local stores, but some will decide to stay permanently. Maintaining a high level of satisfaction of these new residents then begins to play a key role in the game. To do this, we improve their homes and decorate the neighborhoods where they live. If we do this properly, they will attract family to the town and open new businesses here.
Dinkum offers extensive gameplay. The island is very diverse - you'll find desert terrain, as well as tropical forests and cool old-growth forests. There are many crops to choose from, and each region has a rich fauna.
The game is enriched by the crafting system, which allows us to construct our own items, and the mechanics of modifying the interior of our home. Another attraction is the ability to catch insects for a private collection.
The game offers a single-player mode and co-op gameplay.
Dinkum features simple but attractive three-dimensional graphics. Locations, characters and animals have heavily simplified models, resembling toys.
