At Distraint we control the fate of a young man named Price. In order to secure his shares in a well-known company, a man has to occupy the apartment of an older woman. In making this decision, he embarks on a path that will force him to discover the price of his humanity. Distraint tells the story of his dilemmas, actions and guilt.
Distraint is a classic point & click adventure. The player moves around the locations, collects objects, talks with characters and solves simple puzzles (usually using some piece of equipment, getting to the right place, or finding something on the screen). The main attraction of this production is a disturbing and thought-provoking story.
Distraint can only be played alone.
Distraint has a relatively simple, two-dimensional graphic design, which consists mainly of static and animated illustrations. Particularly noteworthy is the interesting and disturbing artistic style, which harmonizes well with both the dark colours of this title and its heavy subject matter. During the game we are accompanied by an intriguing soundtrack.
