However, over the years, developers such as Midway Games and Nerve Software have also been involved in its development. Although the series made its debut on PC, over time it was also released on consoles, as well as on mobile devices.

Game Ratings for Doom: The Dark Ages - Revelations Video Game.
PowerUp!: 8.5 / 10 by Adam Mathew
DOOM: The Dark Ages – Revelations is exactly what a great expansion should be. It doesn’t reinvent the foundation established by the base game. Instead, it strengthens it, expands it and quietly fixes one of its biggest shortcomings by restoring the glorious speed that made DOOM Eternal so addictive in the first place.
GamingBolt: 9 / 10 by Ravi Sinha
Whether this is the end of the Slayer's story or a new beginning for id Software, Revelations is an excellent standalone experience that takes everything about The Dark Ages and elevates it in new and exciting ways.
NoobFeed: 75 / 100 by Azfar Rayan
DOOM: The Dark Ages - Revelations doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel, and doesn’t need to. Instead, it confidently builds on what worked, adding better exploration, meaningful progression, challenging PvE encounters, and a story that gives the Slayer’s journey more weight than you might expect. The result is a substantial expansion that feels substantial from beginning to end.
