DragonSoul (2016)

DragonSoul, released on AND and iOS, is an RPG focused on fast and effective action. The production was developed by an independent PerBlue studio and is distributed in a free-to-play model with microtransactions.

Plot

DragonSoul takes you into a fantastic world ruled years ago by fearless heroes. Their power, however, became an object of jealousy of Umlaut dragon, who captured the heroses and trapped them in magical stones. The player takes on the role of one of the survivors and their task is to set off on a dangerous journey in order to save the enslaved companions and annihilate the forces of evil.

Mechanics

The gameplay in DragonSoul focuses on turn-based fights. We face different units, such as the title dragons or other legendary creatures, and the key to success is not only to develop the right tactics, but also to use various combat skills. Between the fights, we can get learn more about the plot background of the next fight and visit the merchant to sell unnecessary items and equip ourselves with more powerful gear.

Game modes

DragonSoul offers various game modes. In addition to the story campaign, the developers have prepared a set of arena fights, as well as the Guild system, thanks to which it is possible to exchange heroes between players.

Technical aspects

DragonSoul offers 2D graphics. The title is characterized by a relatively nice cartoon design, and the fun is accompanied by atmospheric music.
