Druidstone: The Secret of the Menhir Forest for PC is an RPG with rougelike elements developed by Ctrl Alt Ninja, studio established by the ex-employees of Almost Human, creators of the Legend of Grimrock series.
The Plot
The game takes place in the Menhir Forest, a magical place that can bring back to life those who were buried there. Our protagonist – a druid, who has no memories of his past, is one of the lucky ones who came back to life. He only has that strange feeling that the forest calls him and needs his help.
Mechanics
Druidstone: The Secret of the Menhir Forest for PC is an isometric single player RPG. We explore the game’s locations trying to solve the forest’s riddle and get back our memories. Druidstone’s world, however, is a dangerous place, so many times we will have to face different kinds of enemies. The game uses turn-based combat mechanics. In battle, we will have to rely on our resources, skills, and spells. Almost all of them we gather and level up during our adventures. Rouglike elements (each time we die we have to start from the beginning) make the game more challenging and force us to prepare our tactics in advance.
