A soccer game created by EA Sports, known from the FIFA series. This is their first soccer game since thirty years not to have been created alongside the FIFA organization.

EA Sports FC is a soccer game by EA Sports, the studio responsible for developing the FIFA series for thirty years. After Electronic Arts relinquished their license of the FIFA organization - with FIFA 23 being the last installment of the series - they started a new franchise, signed with the developer's name.
Just as in FIFA, EA Sports FC revolves around matches of soccer and winning trophies. The game features hundreds of licensed regional and national teams. All matches take place in faithfully reproduced stadiums from all around the world. The virtual players all represent actual players from real-life sports.
Electronic Arts needed to acquire many new licenses to create EA Sports FC. One of their first deals struck was for the English Premier League. The rights to the teams and other factors cost them around 500 million British pounds. The contract covers six consecutive league seasons.
