A 3D platformer developed by a Polish studio Egobounds, in which we control an egg trying to climb to the top. In Egging On we can visit such locations as the henhouse, the kitchen or the store. We jump on platforms, trying to avoid traps and overcome obstacles. We must also avoid having bigger falls, because the egg might crack.

Egging On is a 3D platformer where we take control of an egg. The game was developed by the independent Polish studio Egobounds.

Gameplay

Egg challenges

In Egging On we watch the action from a third-person perspective (TPP). The game consists of a series of locations taking the form of unique obstacle courses , among which we will find a shop, a kitchen or even a chicken coop. We travel through them and our main task is to reach the very top. Achieving our goal is not easy, as climbing involves the need to jump on platforms, use springboards and other interactive elements, avoid traps and deal with obstacles.

Egg problems

The issue is further complicated by the controls. They are difficult due to the fact that our egg rolls crookedly and constantly wobbles. However, its shape can also be used to our advantage, for example by properly synchronizing the moment of the jump with the rotation and pushing off from the tip, which allows us to cover a greater distance in the air.

Fragile like an egg

The egg is covered with a thin shell, which only provides it with protection when falling from very small heights. When we hit the ground with greater momentum, it will crack, and our yolk will spill out, forcing us to retry the current challenge.
