Stardock is an American development studio specializing in strategy games. In 2010, it released a turn-based game with RPG elements titled Elemental: War of Magic, set in a fantasy universe. Two years later, the game received a sequel called Elemental: Fallen Enchantress, and in 2015, a third installment under this banner, Sorcerer King, was released.

Some years later, the developers decided to return to this endeavor and prepare Elemental: Reforged – a remaster that combines the most important elements of the three games in the series. Additionally, it has been expanded with a range of new features, including mechanics that were planned for the originals but could not be implemented due to the technology available at the time of their release.

Gameplay

In Elemental: Reforged events are viewed from a bird's-eye perspective.

Struggle for power

The gameplay takes place in a procedurally generated world, where we assume the role of a self-created character and lead a chosen faction. The primary goal is to find magical shards scattered across the land, which increase our power and provide access to increasingly powerful spells and abilities. The challenge is compounded by the fact that other civilizations are also in pursuit of these shards. The outcome of our journey largely depends on our actions and choices.

Faction development

We design and build cities using available resources and magical power, as well as recruit units that we lead into battle against enemy forces. Each unit is equipped with unique weaponry and combat skills. We can enhance their potential by equipping them with magical items. Besides warfare, we can also achieve our goals through diplomacy.
