Emergency 5 published on PC is another instalment in the series focusing on fighting different catastrophes and dangers. The title was developed by Sixteen Tons Entertainment from Germany, the studio responsible for the series’ first four instalments.
You assume the role of an incident commander who coordinates a workflow of fire department, police, paramedics, and technical services. Your units perform their duties with the use of +200 types of land and flying vehicles. The action takes place in three cities – Munich, Hamburg, and Berlin. Deluxe Edition additionally offers Cologne.
Each metropolis has its own campaign during which you need to face both small incidents and extreme emergencies. The huge campaigns can be played in co-op in which up to four players, shoulder-to-shoulder, handle hazardous situations. Moreover, for the first time in the franchise’s history, you can challenge other players. The game features a sandbox mode in which the players compete on one of the three maps unlocked during gameplay (four in Deluxe Edition).
Emergency 5 for PC features a new, decent graphics engine, and offers animations and visual elements created from scratch. The game offers not only an upgraded user interface, but also a powerful editor that enables the players to create their very own maps and missions.
