The gangster strategy game Empire of Sin debuted at the end of 2020 and the people who bought its most expensive edition were promised two expansions as part of the Expansion Pass. The first DLC titled Make It Count was made available in less than a year, but players had to wait over three and a half years longer for the second one - Hunt for Aurora. The second expansion was not developed by the Romero Games team, which was responsible for the "base game", but instead Paradox Interactive entrusted its creation to Moonman studio.

New features in the expansion

Empire of Sin: Hunt for Aurora introduces a new storyline (which we learn over the course of 14 missions), a new boss, a side character and companion, a new gangster class and a business branch, as well as significantly expands the arsenal and brings a new style of combat.

Chasing after the Aurora

The titular Aurora is a famous and valuable diamond. Following its trail is Robin Kray, the new mafia boss, as well as his partner - Sylvia Taylor. In order to get the diamond, the protagonists expand their criminal activities, which are covered up by dance clubs.

Vanguard, dog and arsenal expansion

Of course, there is no shortage of gangster showdowns here, during which we can make use of a new character class - Vanguard (quite versatile, although best in hand-to-hand combat), a dog companion, as well as previously unavailable elements of the arsenal.
