Eresys Release Date PC
Eresys is a horror adventure game. The main source of inspiration for this game was the work of H.P.. Lovecraft, and it was developed by Ares Dragonis, an indie developer known for genre-related project The Shore.
Eresys takes us on a journey to an island where an exiled cultist experimented with a book stolen from the headquarters of his order. Performing a dark ritual, he opened the Void Portal, through which terrifying creatures entered our world. The uninvited guests have already managed to kill both the exile and all the inhabitants of the island. Not wanting them to do more damage, the order sends a group of loyal cultists to the site, tasked with getting rid of the monsters and sealing the portal.
In Eresys , we observe the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). Our main goal is to find all the pages of the book of the order; only in this way will we be able to perform the ritual and chase the reigning monsters back to the Void. As you can easily guess, staying there is no idyll, and danger lurks at almost every turn.
Threats to the protagonists are mainly monsters, which have been diversified in terms of appearance, features and behavioral patterns. In addition, enemies can adapt to our actions. Although facing them should be a last resort, we are not completely defenseless. Our primary "weapons" are kerosene lamps, providing light that fears enemies. The matter is complicated by the fact that they need kerosene to operate, which is a rare good on the island. In addition, along the way we find scrolls that can neutralize the threat from the creatures for a short while. In addition, an important role is played by a book, which is given to one of the team members. Its "keeper" can resurrect a fallen team member, although one never knows what consequences such action will bring.
When all other things fail, however, we have no choice but to flee and hide in one of the safe places. Temporary shelter is provided by both houses and other found buildings, as well as caves. In the latter, however, one should be on guard, as many of them hide dark surprises.
Eresys allows you to play solo, but spreads its wings in co-op mode for up to 4 people.
Eresys features good quality graphics. The game is kept in a dark style; the island is bathed in gloom illuminated only by the faint glow of campfires or lamps and the sun, which struggles to break through the thick clouds.
