Factotum 90 Description
Factotum 90 is a logic game developed by an independent studio TACS Games. The title debuted on Nintendo Wii U as Factotum, and sometime later it was also released on other platforms.
Story
Factotum takes the players into the future, when interstellar flights have become a part of everyday life. The main character is a passenger on a spacecraft; after the deep space vessel collides with a mysterious object, the protagonist gets stuck on board. But before he can try to identify the obstacle that caused the crash, his primary task is to restore the power supply and repair life support systems.
Mechanics
The events taking place on the ship are observed through an outdated two-screen terminal (F90 Walker Control Terminal), from where the hero operates two remotely controlled robots. It is with their help that we achieve the goals set before us, solving subsequent logic and environmental puzzles in the course of thirty different stages.
We have at our disposal tools enabling us to deal with most of the problems - in addition to an magnetic arm, thanks to which we can manipulate elements of the environment, during the adventure we also use energy rays. In the course of the game, it is also worth remembering that the key to success in the case of most puzzles is close cooperation between two units. We should not forget about the many dangers that await our mechanical proteges - even water is a threat to them.
Technical aspects
Factotum 90 can boast of a much wider palette of colors and a changed user interface compared to Factotum released on Nintendo Wii U.
