The fourth installment of the series of isometric action RPGs, started back in 2005. The protagonist of FATE: The Cursed King must save the city of Ekbatan from destruction. We travel through a fantasy land, engaging in dynamic battles. We can be accompanied by allies controlled by the AI.
FATE is an action RPG series that started in 2005. FATE: The Cursed King described here represents its fourth installment. The development of this game was overseen by the company WildTangent, which has been supervising the entire series from the beginning.
In FATE: The Cursed King events are viewed in isometric view. During the game, we take on the role of a character on whose shoulders rests the future of the city of Ekbatan. Our task is to deal with the curse hanging over this place and to protect it from destruction.
The game allows us to independently create our character, in whose skin we explore locations (led by dungeons). Dynamic battles with opponents play a dominant role, during which we use magic as well as melee weapons and ranged weapons. Additionally, the game allows us to make use of the help of AI-controlled allies.
As we progress, we develop our character and acquire increasingly powerful equipment (which we find or buy, and we can sell unnecessary items). This allows us to face increasingly bigger challenges. These last ones look slightly different in each game, as the dungeons we visit are procedurally generated.
