Football manager strategy game, being the next installment of the popular Footlball Manager series. Players once again have the opportunity to take on the role of manager of their favourite football teams and try to lead them to the top of the football league. The task requires both management of the team's sporting skills (acquiring new players, setting match tactics, imposing training regimes, etc.
FIFA Manager 14 is the twelfth installment of the popular series of sports management strategy (previously also known as Total Club Manager)games developed by the German studio, Bright Future, with the publishing support of Electronic Arts.
According to the genre’s convention, the game allows you to assume the role of a manager of a football team. This time, the database includes more than 35 thousand players (about 6 thousand more than FIFA Manager 13), playing in over 1,000 professional clubs from 70 major leagues of the world (including the Brazilian Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A, the Argentian Primera Division and the Polish Ekstraklasa). The official FIFA license allowed the developers to use authentic names of the players, as well as the colors and the symbols of the teams.
The gameplay mechanics do not deviate from the patterns well-known to fans of the cycle. The player’s tasks include transferring players, overseeing the training regimes, setting tactics for matches, as well as managing the infrastructure funds of the selected club. The changes introduced in FIFA Manager 14 are primarily 25 managerial functions unlocked right from the start (in the games the the player had to gain access to them), including psychological profile, coaching gossip, and team matrix. The developers also implemented an extensive system of team statistics, as well as over 60 different goals towards which the teams can work.
As in the earlier installments of the series, FIFA Manager 14 is based on the text layer (tables, analysis, charts, statistics, etc.). Graphic elements appearing in the game, including photos of players or logos of clubs, are purely decorative.
A new version of the massive FIFA Manager 2025 has been released. It's an ambitious that acts as fan-made unofficial mod that continuation of the series abandoned over decade ago by Electronic Arts.

The giant fan project FIFA Manager 2023 has received a new version. Among other things, it introduces a database of players and teams from March this year.
