However, collisions with protruding objects are not the only threat. The oceans are home to many aggressive creatures that can attack at any time.
City dwellers expect access to freshwater and food. The player must ensure a constant supply of both of these resources. In order to do so, rainwater should be collected and various types of sea creatures should be hunted.
Flotsam features a cartoonish visual style. Despite the apocalyptic theme, the visuals are kept in very bright colors.
Moving around the planet, we can come across a variety of constructions. Most of them are completely underwater. These objects only enrich the monotonous abyss of the ocean. The objects protruding on the surface are interactive and serve as a source of raw materials.
