Hot Wheels is DLC for the racing game Forza Horizon 5. It introduces a set of toy cars, a new map and a wide selection of iconic modules to build your own tracks. It was developed by Playground Games.
Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels is an add-on to the popular racing game by Playground Games studio. It is not a standalone DLC, which means that the basic version of FH5 is required to play.
The add-on was created in cooperation with Hot Wheels, a toy car manufacturer, and allows to play in a virtual park full of twisted tracks built by the company.
The DLC introduces ten new cars to the game, including a 2021 Hennessey Venom F5 and a 2000 Hot Wheels Deora II.
We can race these machines on self-made, twisted tracks that we construct from 80 available parts, putting them together like building blocks. Players can go crazy on their own creations, as well as play on other people's tracks.
Just like the basic version of the game, the add-on allows for both solo play and multiplayer.
FH5: Hot Wheels offers the same high quality graphics as the basic version. The cool toy tracks, however, are very different visually from the traditional tracks in the game and thus provide a fresh experience.

If you enjoy Forza Horizon 5 and want more, this Hot Wheels expansion comes highly recommended. The track-based antics here are more restricted, which may put off players who enjoy the off-roading freedom that the base game provides, but in turn it’s a whole new experience with a completely different feel. As long as you like driving really fast and performing insane stunts, you’ll love Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels. You don’t even need to be a fan of actual Hot Wheels cars to appreciate it.

Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels is a wonderful bit of additional content for the core game, with absolutely thrilling racing for fans of the toy line.

All things considered, as a $19.99 USD standalone purchase, this is easily the wildest, largest, and most ambitious expansion to grace the Forza Horizon franchise to date. It makes Horizon 3’s offering seem like a prototype by comparison. This is the production model, and boy can she drive.
