Next installment in a bestselling game series devoted to LEGO bricks and developed, as usual, by Traveller’s Tales studio. This title is Warner Bros'. response to the growing popularity of franchises like Skylanders or Disney Infinity. This is the first game in the series that uses real LEGO minifigures, which are transferred into virtual word through a special port. When it comes to gameplay mechanics, the game is not much different from other titles in the series, still being a third-person action-adventure game. You play as various LEGO characters who have to stop evil Lord Vortech from annihilating humanity. The game is available for purchase in several editions devoted to different franchises. Starter pack includes figurines of Gandalf, Wyldstyle, Batman, and Batmobile. However, you can buy individual packs of characters featured in the Return to the Future franchise, LEGO Ninjago sets, DC Comics, or The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

The third installment in a popular action-adventure game series for kids, set in an expansive universe of films and cartoons of The Walt Disney Company. As many as five game developers worked on this title: Avalanche Software, Ninja Theory, Sumo Digital, Studio Gobo, and United Front Games. In accordance with the tradition of the series, Disney Infinity 3.0 lets you synchronize collectible figurines with the game in order to unlock virtual characters. Upon doing so, you take part in various adventures in one of many Disney worlds. The third installment in the series introduces 5 new worlds coming from Star Wars, Marvel universe, and the animated picture Inside Out. Of course, there are also new heroes and an improved version of Toy Box with new multiplayer modes. Disney Infinity 3.0 retains the cartoonish artwork characteristic for the series. The game supports all figurines and power discs from previous editions.

Another installment in the popular series of 3D platform games developed in cooperation between Activision and Toys for Bob. The series uses special toy figurines that are transferred to the virtual world of the game. The mechanics of Skylanders Imaginators are similar to the ones from the previous installments of the series. It is a typical action game focused on exploration, getting through obstacles, collecting items and fighting enemies while occasionally solving riddles. The way of interacting with the toys hasn’t changed as well – what’s more, the game is fully compatible with models released for the previous installments. Among the most important new features there is the possibility to design new characters (thanks to the toy called Creation Crystal) and completely new figurines from the Skylanders Sense group, among which there are 31 warriors.

Another installment of the popular arcade platformer game series developed by Vicarious Visions. Once more, the player has to face the ruthless Kaos who intends to take over Skylands with the use of a powerful weapon — Doomstation of Ultimate Doomstruction. His plans can only be thwarted by the team of Skylanders appointed by Master Eon. Similarly to its predecessors, Skylanders SuperChargers uses real action figurines that are transferred to the virtual world with Portal of Power. The novelty list includes, first and foremost, twenty customizable vehicles that can move on the land and in the air, as well as twenty new heroes, the eponymous SuperChargers. To enjoy their abilities, we have to buy them separately since the starter pack features the game itself, two action figurines, one vehicles, and the aforementioned Portal of Power. Moreover, the title supports over three hundred action figurines released alongside the previous productions.

Lego Minifigures Online is a free-to-play family MMO game, based in the Lego blocks universe - a world perfectly known probably by everyone. The game, licensed by LEGO, was developed by FunCom - a studio known for games like The Longest Journey, Age of Conan, or Anarchy Online. Lego Minifigures Online takes place on several thematic maps based on popular LEGO sets. Thousands of players from all around the world can play together, focusing on either doing cooperative story missions, or competing in one of the various PVP modes the game offers. During our adventures, we will build various LEGO constructions, set traps, plant mines, and use defense structures, such as watchtowers. But perhaps the biggest feature of the game are the collectible, iconic LEGO figures, which we can use later in the game. As in every proper MMO game, our heroes can level up and gain new, unique abilities.

A mobile reboot of the cult-classic series of racing games, created by Codemasters Software. In comparison to the original, which was popular in the 90s, the backbone of the gameplay hasn’t changed much. The action is once again presented from a top-down view, with the competition between small, remote-controlled vehicles being the mainstay of the game. The races take place on specially prepared tracks, located in such places as desks, kitchen sinks, or a billiards table. The player has to watch out not only for the enemies, but also for various obstacles like cutlery lying around the track, or even spilled glue. The key to success lies in using power-ups and tuning the vehicles – the number of the latter has increased to over sixty, including very fast, exotic cars, hot rods and muscle cars that are popular among tuners, or even atypical choices for a racing game in form of police cars and hovercrafts. The power-ups available in Micro Machines not only increase the vehicles’ performance, but also their battle potential – during the gameplay, we can use shields, flamethrowers, as well as hard-hitting blasters. Aside from gameplay modes present in the previous installments, a new mode has been introduced – Arena – that forces us to eliminate other competitors. Our results can be stored on an online scoreboard.

As we play, we throw virtual dices and move over a special board, full of various mini-games, prizes, and sometimes traps, which will cause us to lose, for example, virtual money. The goal of the game is extremely simple: to make our character the happiest resident of the village. The title, like most digital board games, is designed primarily to be played in multiplayer mode. Notable features of Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival include extremely colorful, 3D graphic designs and interactive board game that changes with each successive seasons, as was the case in previous full-fledged installments of the series.
