An arcade game developed by the Polish studio Vivid Games, which is a continuation of Gravity Rider. In Gravity Rider Zero we play the role of a rider who drives various machines, going through winding tracks full of obstacles, ramps and hills.
Gravity Rider Zero is a continuation of Gravity Rider, released in 2018. The game was developed by authors of the original, i.e. the Polish Vivid Games studio, also known for Real Boxing and Godfire: Rise of Prometheus. The game is distributed in a free model with microtransactions.
Like in the original, the action in Gravity Rider Zero is shown from the side perspective. During the game, players assume the role of a competitor who, sitting at the controls of one of the nearly twenty machines, carries out tasks on a hundred different routes. The authors give at one's disposal, among others, motorcycles, bicycles, and even quads. Additionally, they are susceptible to visual modifications; one can change their colors and body elements or add neon traces.
While driving, players must constantly adjust their speed, slowing down or accelerating as needed. In addition, one should skillfully balance the body of the athlete, for example by preparing him to jump. In addition, the tracks have been filled with various traps (such as by lasers) that should be avoided, and obstacles that are sometimes reminiscent of logical puzzles (such as activating elevators or knocking over blocks to create a bridge). All this makes it difficult to reach the finish line in one piece.
The pillar of Gravity Rider Zero is the career mode, which consists of missions taking place across various planets with different looks and rules of play.
The visuals in Gravity Rider Zero are maintained in a colorful, original style known from its predecessor. At the same time, a variety of levels was ensured, which were enriched with numerous details.
