Game mechanics

In Green Hell VR we observe the action from a first person perspective (FPP). To stay alive, you must constantly pay attention to the needs of the protagonist. If you want to satisfy your hunger, you have to look for edible fruits, mushrooms and plants, hunt or fish. Also, you should quench your thirst or let the protagonist rest from time to time.

However, it does not end here, because during the murderous march through the jungle it is also necessary to look around for useful resources. Resources are used to craft useful equipment (such as bows or makeshift spears, various tools and other items, such as fishing rods) and to build various structures. At the beginning the tent is a sufficient shelter for us, although with time we should think about building a real camp.

However, no matter what and how well we do, our visit in the jungle will never be an idyllic one. Among the dangers waiting for us there are not only predators, but also various diseases (which we can get, for example, by drinking water straight from the river or eating inedible mushrooms or fruits). In addition, we may get wounds (which should be treated as soon as possible) or parasites (which, in turn, we must get rid of as soon as possible). The presence of the parasites entails a regular inspection of the protagonist's body in order to diagnose potential problems in time.

Adapting the game Green Hell to virtual reality sets, the developers have limited the interface to a minimum. In addition, the controls have been changed and developed in such a way that players perform as many actions as possible with their own hands.

Green Hell VR features high-quality graphics. As it was the case in the original, the most noteworthy is the rich and detailed vegetation.
