Another installment in a popular series of racing games developed by Codemasters. In contrast to DiRT - the other flagship franchise of the British developer, GRID: Autosport continues the tradition established by the TOCA Touring Car Championship and TOCA Race Driver series, that is, racing on asphalt tracks.
GRID: Autosport for PC, AND and etc. is another popular series of racing games, launched in 1997 by the TOCA Touring Car Championship. The project was developed by Codemasters studio, by the same authors.
The game focuses on restoring a work of professional driver and includes the races as well as all the events which happen between the competitions. The authors have prepared a wide selection of cars, which include mass produced models as well as prototypes. All cars can be modified at the discretion of the players. The cars are used to compete in the twenty-two different locations and more than hundred routes.
GRID: Autosport for PC, AND and etc. has the most comprehensive content in the history of the series, introducing many innovations, while retaining all elements which fans liked in the earlier parts. The brand enthusiasts should especially please the news of the return the view behind the wheel, which was missed in GRID 2.
The game offers an extensive career mode, where we can be a professional driver and beyond winning races we do other things like: recruitment of other members of the team and obtaining sponsors. There is also a multiplayer game mode. The players can also establish Internet clubs and compete for first place of the raceNet network rankings. Furthermore, every week the authors provide new challenges.

The cult series of video games dedicated to the theme of car racing. It was created and is still being developed by the British company Codemasters Software. To date, eleven major installments of the series have been released, which has changed its title and formula a couple of times during its long history. Initially, the series became famous for its high level of realism (unattainable, for instance, for Gran Turismo), later its hallmark became a huge variety of available routes, vehicles, and motorsport disciplines (from all forms of traditional rivalry on asphalt, through drifting, to rallying), as well as an advanced destruction model. It currently stands out from the competition with its aggressive artificial intelligence and exciting, unpredictable races.
Electronic Arts has decided to change the schedule and speed up the shutdown of the servers of four games developed by the Codemasters studio. We still have a little more than a month to play in multiplayer, though.

Game Ratings for GRID: Autosport Video Game.
NZGamer: 7.5 / 10 by Keith Milburn
The driving in GRID Autosport is fantastic, and certainly more in-line with Codemaster's (and the fan's) vision of what their series should be. While the singleplayer A.I. detracts from the overall experience, and the lack of personality is disappointing, these are all just minor issues that orbit a game with a solid foundation.
Nintendo Life: 8 / 10 by Chris Scullion
With over 100 cars and more than 25 different racing venues set over five distinct disciplines (as well as bonus DLC ones like destruction derby and drag racing), GRID Autosport is that rarest of beasts: a jack of all trades that doesn't sacrifice quality as a result. The addition of all previously released paid console DLC – right down to the cynical XP boost – is extremely welcome, but the complete removal of all local and online multiplayer features means this a strictly solo affair, and that might be a turn-off for many. Still, that doesn't change the fact that this is one of the best racing games on Switch.
We Got This Covered: 4 / 5 by Christian Law
Featuring the return of the reigning king of the racing simulator series, GRID Autosport makes attempts to welcome newcomers while expanding the gameplay that made the series so great in the first place.
