My Next Games is an independent Polish development studio that made its mark in the domestic video game industry with the creation of the Soulblight project. Over time, the team delivered its next creation, the action adventure game described here under the title Hank: Drowning On Dry Land. The creation of this item was made possible, among other things, thanks to financial support from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the MEDIA component of the Creative Europe program.

Gameplay

In Hank: Drowning On Dry Land we watch the action from a variety of angles. The camera presents the events from the side, from a bird's eye view, as well as from behind the characters' backs. In addition, some moments are shown here in comic "windows", which allows us to see them from different perspectives at the same time.

During the gameplay, we impersonate the title character and traverse locations that are a projection of his own consciousness, as well as solve varied puzzles.

Time manipulation

In order to save himself, our protégé must make use of his time manipulation skills. They allow him not only to travel back in time and use the knowledge he has gained to evade the dangers that await him, but also to create his own "clones".

In order to avoid the space-time paradox, we must avoid direct encounters with a version of the protagonist from another timeline. Nevertheless, we can use the presence of a copy of Hank to our own advantage, because thanks to it we can, as it were, be in two places at the same time.

Storyline

In Hank: Drowning On Dry Land we play the role of the title character. After being poisoned, the protagonist fell to the ground and began to drown in a puddle of spilled beer. His only chance for rescue is a journey into the depths of his own consciousness, where he may be able to find something that will allow him to get out of his predicament in one piece.
