The second in the award-winning Horse and Musket 2 series, Prussia's Glory, brings to your monitor five important battles of Frederick the Great, showcasing his military genius between the years of 1745 and 1760. The five battles include Soor, Lobositz, Hochkirch, Torgau, and arguably the most famous battle of Frederick's military career, Leuthen. It was at Leuthen that the Interstellar Trader 2 is a fast playing economic strategy game that's perfect for breaks between the marathon gaming sessions of Dominions 2 or Space Empires IV. The sequel to 2000's game of the same name, gameplay has been tweaked in response to the thousands of requests and ideas that came from the fans of the original. Now Interstellar Trader 2 is everything you loved about the first game, and more.

The basic concept remains the same. You're the owner of a start-up galactic merchant business. Like any good merchant, space based or rooted firmly on terra firma, you want to make money. Lots of it. Unfortunately standing in your way is a fickle marketplace, spacefaring pirates (arrrgh!), and a host of random events. No one ever said being an interstellar trader was an easy job, now did they?

Features:

- Randomly generated galactic supply and demand system each time you play. No two games are ever alike!

- Five items are now available for trade on each planet as opposed to the original game's three items. The price of items will vary throughout the game due to the supply and demand situation, creating a more realistic economic system.

- Ten planets to ply your trade with instead of the first game's six. Each planet can also provide modifiers to its economic condition, making it important to know where the best deals can be found.

- The ability to upgrade or purchase brand new vessels. There are literally hundreds of thousands of unique combinations to fly. Change out the fuel tanks, weapon mounts, or cargo capacity. Something cool is the fact that your ships all have a durability rating. Over time your ships will suffer wear and tear, just like real vehicles do.

- The meanest bunch of pirates this side of the Milky Way. Four different clans roam the stars, seeking to deprive you of your goods, with each clan having a different priority over what type of booty they will claim.

- Create your own taxi service as you ferry passengers around the galaxy. You can even buy toll booths to collect income from planetary visitors.

- Planetary prime ministers can be visited for numerous benefits, including the chance to purchase contracts that ward off pirates for a limited time.

- An improved combat engine with more direct choices and player involvement. You also don't have to go it alone as you can hire escort ships to help protect your valuable cargo. And hey, if that doesn't help you always have the choice to self-destruct your ships to use as a weapon. Take that Spacebeard!

- Lots of special encounters adds a dash of flavor to each game, in addition to creating a new experience each time you play. Deal with merchants from far away galaxies, test your luck at the Galactic Casino, and more!

- Beautiful hi-res artwork at 1024x768 makes the gameworld come alive!

- Quick playing, a perfect game for your lunch break.
