Killing Floor III is an FPS and the third installment in a series originating from 2009. Like the previous installments, it was developed by Tripwire Interactive.

Plot

Killing Floor III is set in 2091. The Horzine megacorporation has been holding genetic experiments meant to create invincible soldiers, ending up with an army of bioengineered monsters known as Zeds. A rebel group, Nightfall, faces off against the aggressive monsters to stop Horzine before things get out of hand.

Mowing down zed is still fun in principle, but the weak sound design, questionable aesthetic shift, and repetitive gameplay loop make it hard to justify at the full price of $39.99. If Tripwire supports this game as much as it did with its predecessor, Killing Floor 3 stands a chance of being good. For now, it isn't there yet.
