New on Steam. Highly anticipated action RPG and sequel to the hit FPS
This week, games such as Killing Floor 3, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, The King is Watching, No Sleep For Kaname Date - From AI: The Somnium Files, Wildgate, Hell Clock, Grimshire, and Monument Valley 3 will be released on Steam.
Welcome to the series that discusses the most important upcoming releases on Steam. This will be another week densely filled with new titles. Fans of RPGs, shooters, and strategy games should be particularly pleased.
Release of the week is Wuchang: Fallen Feathers (July 24, 2025)
One of the most important launches of the week is expected to be Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. This is a high-budget action RPG game, similar to soulslike, set in a fantasy version of the Chinese Shu region during the late Ming dynasty.
Out of the upcoming releases, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is the most anticipated game on Steam, with almost three times more followers than the second-place Killing Floor 3. That's why we picked it as the game of the week.

The King is Watching
The King is Watching looks fascinating. It's a real-time strategy game with elements of tower defense, based on an interesting concept. We will become the king whose subjects only work when our gaze falls upon them. So, the game will focus on managing our attention properly to develop the kingdom and make it able to fend off enemy attacks.

July 22nd
Abiotic Factor
Today, Abiotic Factor, a co-op survival action game inspired by the first Half-Life, is leaving early access. Players assume the roles of employees at a secret research facility similar to Black Mesa, who must survive after alien monsters take over the building.
The Early Access release has been a hit with players on Steam, with a 96% positive rating from over 32,500 reviews.
Brutal John 2 (Early Access)
Brutal John 2 is a humorous first-person shooter, referring to Duke Nukem 3D and the Serious Sam series. The game will take us to the year 2090, and our mission will be to eliminate a mutant who, in pursuit of cryptocurrencies, has brought Earth to the brink of economic collapse.

Buccaneers Shipshape
Buccaneers Shipshape is a pixel art beat 'em up game that refers to the classic arcade games of the genre. We will play as a pirate trying to recover his stolen treasure map. In addition to playing alone, there will also be a co-op mode available.
Ctrl Alt Deal
Ctrl Alt Deal looks promising. In this logic game with strategic elements, we will guide an artificial intelligence trying to escape from a ruthless corporation before its management discovers that it has gained self-awareness. For this purpose, we will have to spy on human employees, discover their weaknesses, and exploit them to secure useful favors, while avoiding detection by the Turing office monitoring all AI.

Le Mans Ultimate (Early Access)
On Tuesday, the Le Mans Ultimate racing simulator will also leave early access. This game is based on the license of the FIA WEC races, which include the titular and most famous endurance race in the world.
The Early Access release has received 78% positive reviews on Steam, based on nearly 9,000 opinions.
Luto
Luto is a first-person horror game inspired by the legendary P.T. (a demo of the canceled Silent Hills), where you'll be trapped in a house haunted by a supernatural entity.
The game demo (unfortunately, no longer available) made an excellent impression, so we hope that the full version will be equally successful.
Monument Valley 3
Tomorrow, Monument Valley 3 will finally be available on Steam. It's the next installment of the beautiful series of isometric puzzle games, where you have to manipulate perspective to create a path for the character to reach the goal.
Grimshire (Early Access)
Grimshire is a farming RPG with life-sim elements, where we live in a village full of humanoid animals. Unlike typical games of this type, the gameplay and plot here won't be carefree. Our priority should be to prepare the settlement for the upcoming deadly epidemic.
Hell Clock
Hell Clock is a promising action RPG that takes place in late 19th-century Brazil. We will play as a warrior who descends into purgatory to help the souls of those who perished during the brutal conflict between the army and the inhabitants of the Canudos village, which resulted in the loss of 25,000 lives.

Resonant Blade
Resonant Blade is a cool action game with a cute pixel art style. We'll explore the ruins of civilization and fight robots using a unique sword that can transform sounds into powerful sonic attacks.

Wildgate
Wildgate is a title that can be simply described as "Sea of Thieves in space." So, it's a multiplayer action game where players take on the role of competing space ship crews. During the fun, we will be fighting star battles, collecting loot, and upgrading equipment.
UnderMine 2 (Early Access)
UnderMine 2 is a 2D action game with RPG elements, where you'll explore monster-filled dungeons.
The first installment was highly acclaimed (it has 91% positive reviews on Steam). Apart from new locations, enemies, and weapons, the sequel will also introduce a local co-op mode that was missing in the first game.

Animal Shelter 2
Most weeks on Steam cannot go by without some kind of civilian simulator. This time, it's going to be Animal Shelter 2 by Games Incubator, where we'll be running an animal shelter.
The first installment, released three years ago, was very well received - it has 87% positive reviews on Steam (out of over 3,500 reviews).

Wheel World
Wheel World is an adventure action game with a strong emphasis on the plot. We will take on the role of a young cyclist selected by cycling spirits to perform a ritual to prevent the world's destruction. This will require winning many races and significantly upgrading our bike.
July 24th
Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced
Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced is a collection that includes refreshed versions of three excellent action platformer games.
Endzone 2
On Thursday, Endzone 2, a city builder strategy game, will leave early access. In this game, we are engaged in building cities in a post-apocalyptic future to keep the surviving remnants of humanity alive.
Hotel Galactic (Early Access)
Hotel Galactic combines simulation, strategy, and adventure elements, putting us in the role of a hotel manager located on a drifting space island. All of this will be presented in a visually appealing way, inspired by the animated films of Studio Ghibli.
The game was developed by Ancient Forge, known for The Tenants (80% positive reviews on Steam).

Killing Floor 3
The release of Killing Floor 3 is going to be a big deal for sure. It's the latest installment of the popular co-op FPS series, where you fight hordes of monsters created by the bioengineering corporation Horzine.
The last game in the series was a big hit, with over 127,000 reviews on Steam and 88% of them being positive. It also set a record with 69,000 players active at one time. So, there are high expectations for KF3.
Let Them Trade
Let Them Trade is a city builder where you can create self-sufficient cities that cater to the needs of their residents and engage in trade. The game world will be presented as a diorama on a table, with all its elements stylized to look like wooden objects.

Mavrix by Matt Jones (Early Access)
Mavrix by Matt Jones is a sports game dedicated to mountain biking, offering an open map filled with downhill and slopestyle trails, as well as licensed bikes from real brands in the biking world.
s.p.l.i.t
Fans of heavy vibes might be interested in s.p.l.i.t. This is a horror game where we become a hacker breaking into the systems of a dangerous group with no moral boundaries. The gameplay will focus on entering text commands and communicating with other members of our crew.
The title was developed by Mike Klubnika, the creator of Buckshot Roulette - one of the most interesting horror games of recent years, which has 95% positive reviews on Steam.
Supervive
The next title that will leave early access this week will be Supervive. This online action game combines hero shooters with a gameplay structure inspired by MOBA games.
The Early Access release has been well received - over 18,000 users on Steam have reviewed the game, and it has an 89% positive rating.
The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily
The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily is an unusual turn-based strategy game with RPG elements. In the game, we'll lead a revolution against a powerful Empire ruled with an iron fist. The title will really emphasize the story, and a cool feature could be the option to either eliminate enemy commanders or persuade them to join your side.

Ascent of Ashes is a survival strategy game where you lead a colony on a foreign planet, where all the previous inhabitants mysteriously disappeared.
This is the debut production of Vivid Storm Interactive studio, founded by the creators of the popular Combat Extended mod for RimWorld.
Danger in Pompeii
Danger in Pompeii is an adventure game with a point-and-click interface and two-dimensional graphics inspired by European comics. The game will let us experience the last few days in Pompeii before the volcanic eruption and the destruction of the ancient city.
Death Revives
Death Relives is something we really like - a horror game reaching for rarely seen atmospheres in this category. In this survival horror, the Aztec deity Xipe Totec will hunt us down. This creature is supposed to resemble Mr X from Resident Evil 2 in terms of gameplay. So, killing him will be impossible, but attacks and traps will only give us a short break, allowing us to catch our breath, explore, and solve puzzles.
No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: The Somnium Files
Fans of detective adventure games are eagerly awaiting the release of No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: The Somnium Files, the third installment of the fantastic series created by the Japanese studio Spike Chunsoft.
