Kin's Chronicle is a classic dungeon-crawler jRPG in the anime style. The game was developed and published by flashdim, an independent studio. The game's demo was made available on the Steam platform on July 28, 2021.

Mechanics

The main task of the player is to explore vast locations, fight with monsters lurking in the darkness and collect valuable relics that help solve the mystery of the destroyed world. Some of the enemies encountered on the way can be avoided, but sometimes the player has to take up a fight with them. While exploring caves or climbing high towers, the main character has to watch out not only for the monsters that threaten him, but also for the traps set up here and there. Collected interactive items can also serve as a replenishment of the equipment.

Main hero has a wide range of attacks. Each of the enemies deals a certain amount of damage, so during the confrontation it is worth to follow the level of life (HP) and magic power (MP) of the protagonist. If a fight is unavoidable, the player has the opportunity to heal himself later.

The game also introduces the option of recruiting monsters. The player can try to convince a monstrosity to join him, and then use its skills during the battle. Each beast, ghost, and mythological creature has its own experience level and abilities.
