Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris for PC, XONE and PS4 is a spin-off to the Tomb Raider series and a sequel to Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light from 2014. The game was developed by Crystal Dynamics, the creators of many titles, including the main Tomb Raider series, and focuses on cooperative gameplay for up to four players.

The story takes place in Egypt. While entering one of the tombs, Carter accidentally springs a trap which sets free the evil god Seth and casts a curse on both Lara Croft and the perpetrator. At the same time, Horus and Isis, the son and the wife of the god Osiris, are awoken. Since they are the only ones capable of breaking the aforementioned curse and stopping Seth from destroying the world, the gods and mortals join forces and set out on an amazing, dangerous journey to resurrect Osiris and defeat Seth. Numerous ancient traps and mythical monsters will try to hinder their progress.
