The game transports us to a fantasy world inspired by Greek mythology, devastated by Pandora's Box, which not only corrupted humanity, but also poisoned the minds of the gods. We take control of characters endowed with angelic powers. Their task is to reseal Pandora's Box and restore order and harmony throughout the land.
We start the game by creating a character and choosing one of the classes differentiated in terms of preferred weapons, fighting style, as well as strengths and weaknesses. We can become a Dragoon (warrior), a Wizard, or an Archer. We have nothing left to do but to start the adventure, during which we go through locations, complete quests, and above all, eliminate hordes of enemies.
Fights take place in real time and require to show agility and reflexes. Our chances of victory are increased by the ability to transform into a powerful angel (in this form we inflict significantly more damage on enemies, although we can use it for a limited time), as well as by using the help of accompanying spirits.
As we progress, we develop the character, improve their attributes, and gather increasingly better equipment. The armor system was designed in such a way as to encourage us to complete sets. Acquiring parts of the same set provides us with various bonuses to the equipment we already have, while collecting all of its elements unlocks the entire armor and the weapon assigned to it.
Along the way we also acquire special stones that allow us to upgrade individual elements of the armor, as well as artifacts, which also increase our combat potential.
League of Angels: Heaven’s Fury is an MMORPG, thus it only allows for online multiplayer. We can cooperate or compete with other players. We can also become a lone wolf and explore the world alone.
