Still unannounced officially, the fifth main part of the adventure game series under the title Life is Strange. We learned of the existence of Life is Strange: Reunion through PEGI, the organization that assigns age categories to video games in Europe.

From the plot description provided by PEGI, it appears that the title will be a continuation of Life is Strange: Double Exposure, and we will start the new adventure by watching a recap of the events presented in the previous games under this banner. The main characters of this production will be Max Caulfield and Chloe Price. The latter will come to Caledon University to ask Max for help in dealing with the nightmares that plague her. Things will be complicated, however, by the fact that Max will be struggling with terrifying visions of a deadly fire due to hit the campus in three days.

There is stuff to love about Life Is Strange: Reunion. Max and Chloe's interactions are heartwarming, and Deck Nine seems to have nailed player agency, as I was genuinely shocked by the massive consequences some of the decisions I made had. But all the goodwill gets bogged down by an overtly ambitious story that doesn't get close to sticking the landing, and a general feeling that bringing back Chloe was a corporate mandate to see if Square Enix could sell a few more copies of Life Is Strange before plunging the franchise into obscurity.

Cloud Dosage: 3.9 / 5 by Jon Scarr

Life is Strange: Reunion provides the emotional closure fans have wanted since 2015. While technical bugs and stiff animations can be distracting, the dual-protagonist gameplay and strong writing make this a must play journey for anyone who loves Max and Chloe. It is a short but purposeful resolution to a decade-long story.
