Medieval Engineers for PC is a sandbox game that focuses on building. It was developed by Keen Software House, the creators of Space Engineers.

Gameplay

The action of Medieval Engineers is set in the Middle Ages, and the gameplay focuses on building various structures — including fortifications, castles, and even whole cities — as well as constructing various sorts of machines. We may also transform the land and conduct underground mining.

The developers took a realistic approach to the game. The players mainly use technologies which were actually available to the medieval engineers and constructors. The gameplay is driven by an advanced physics engine that calculates resistance and behavior of erected objects on the basis of their shape, weight, and materials used. At the same time, the interface is user-friendly and allows us to create new objects quickly and easily, although more complicated machines require proper planning.
