The continuation of Meridian: New World, a real-time strategy game set in science fiction realities developed by Elder_Games. The plot continues the story from the first installment. When the first colonization attempt of the titular planet Meridian ends up in failure, the leaders of the United Earth decide to send in a specialist squad of commandos with the mission of finding and saving the remaining colonists.

Being a continuation of Meridian: New World released in 2014, Meridian: Squad 22 is a science fiction real-time strategy published on PC. The production is co-developed by authors of the first instalment – Ede Tarsoly with his Elder_Games and Hexany Audio responsible for the game’s soundtrack. The game is still published by Merge Games and Headup Games.

Plot

The plot continues the story narrated in Meridian: New World. The first colonisation attempt of the titular planet Meridian turned out to be a failure and a group of colonists vanished. Being aware of that, the United Earth decided to send there a specialist group of commandos, known as Squad 22. Its objective is to find the missing colonists and bring them home safely.
