Monopoly Go!

Monopoly Go! is an adaptation of the best-selling board game Monopoly. The game was developed by the Scopely studio, whose portfolio includes the popular Stumble Guys. The project was done in cooperation with Hasbro, which supervises the brand. The game is distributed in a free-to-play model with microtransactions.

Mechanics

Monopoly Go! gameplay is based on the rules developed for the needs of the original. During the game, we roll dice and move around a board covered with square fields, purchasing and taking over existing properties and constructing new buildings. We can also perform aggressive moves, including attacking banks belonging to other players or destroying buildings erected by them.

All this is done in order to earn as much as possible (and therefore invest as much as possible) and, consequently, dominate the board. It is worth paying attention to fields with various negative effects, like the prison.

As we progress, we not only earn more and more money (provided that the game goes our way), but also unlock new pawns (such as a racing car, a cylinder or a warship) and obtain various stickers which we can exchange with friends.

The gameplay is diversified by various mini-games and special events based on unique rules, which provide an opportunity to earn extra cash.

Game modes

Monopoly Go! was prepared for solo play. There is also a taste of multiplayer gameplay: the ability to interact with other players' buildings, competing for higher scores, or participating in special cooperative events, in which we fight together for the best result.
